Police stop burglary in progress at 50 Cent's mansion

The Connecticut mansion of rapper 50 Cent was broken into Tuesday (December 21), but the culprits were apprehended when a member of the star’s security alerted the police.

A press release issued by Lt. Marshall S.Porter of the Farmington Police Department stated that a security guard at the mansion tipped the authorities over a suspicious car parked in the driveway at 6am.

The police found one of the suspects, Alexander Hernandez, "hiding in a closet, drinking a bottle of wine he had stolen from the residence."

Another suspect, named as Santos Padilla, was hiding in another part of the mansion, which used to belong to Mike Tyson. The officers used a police dog to hunt through the rest of the house, but no other burglars were found.
