Annie Lennox has revealed she believes that no matter what controversy has befallen Mariah Carey over her long, varied and changeable career, when it comes down to the voice, she’s unbeatable.

Lennox is currently out plugging her own Christmas album ‘A Christmas Cornucopia’, but feels no ill will towards every Christmas single’s biggest competition, the ever-popular ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’ by Mariah.

In an interview with Magic 105.4, Lennox revealed: “Whatever you feel about Mariah Carey, when you hear her sing, ohh my God! I’ve never heard a voice like that!”
