A representative for Dizzee Rascal has spoken out against rumours that the grime star has been dating Aussie songstress Natalie Imbruglia after the two were spotted Christmas shopping in London on Thursday (December 23).

The two apparently met last year (2009) while at a private island resort owned by billionaire Richard Branson. Photos were snapped of the pair in Mayfair arm-in-arm picking out presents yesterday, sparking speculation that the two were more than friends.

However, a publicist for the British rapper denied the claims made by The Sun, insisting the relationship was platonic: "They're good friends. He was just escorting her on a shopping trip."
