Rocker Josh Homme "died and survived" on the operating table

Queens Of The Stone Age's front man, Josh Homme, has revealed that he had a brush with death 2 years ago. 

He explained that in autumn of 2009 he had to have an operation on his knee and experienced complications during the procedure. He told NME:

"I had an operation and died and survived on the table,"

"I had surgery on my leg and there were complications and I died on the table. I was in bed for three months."

He added:

It gave me great perspective, and it's amazing to be alive."
