Libertines star Carl Barat has postponed his forthcoming UK solo tour and has also completely cancelled 2 London gigs. 

A statement on the musician's website explained that he has cancelled the gig at Bristol's Anson Rooms on February 21 along with his opening show at Norwich's UEA on February 18. In addition to this, the rest of the dates have been altered and rescheduled and he will appear at the following venues:

• March 29 - Concorde 2 in Brighton
• March 31 - Cambridge Junction
• April 3 - Oxford Academy
• April 6 - Manchester Academy 2
• April 8 - Sheffield Leadmill

No reason has been given for the sudden change of plans and the remaining dates are still to be rearranged. You can watch the video for his recent single, 'Run With The Boys', below:
