A surprise announcement has been made this afternoon (February 8) by the Grammy Awards, which confirmed a very exclusive performance by an iconic star. 

The message read:

"A Star To Perform! MusiCares Person of the Year @BarbraStreisand will appear in a rare performance on the 53rd GRAMMYs"

"Barbra will be introduced by Kris Kristofferson! Kris will also be presenting, along with Miley Cyrus, @ActuallyNPH (Neil Patrick Harris) & Seth Rogen!"

In addition to her live musical performance, Streisand will also be competing in the category for 'Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album' for her record 'Love Is The Answer'. She will be honoured this coming Friday, February 11, by the Grammy's charitable organization MusiCares for her "renowned creative accomplishments and philanthropic work".
