JLS are joining the ranks of Justin Bieber, The Prodigy and Michael Jackson as they announce plans to release a concert movie into theatres across the UK. 

The 'Beat Again' stars filmed a recent performance live from London's O2 Arena, which took place back in January this year, and will release it as a 3D film entitled 'Eyes Wide Open' in cinemas. Band member Marvin Humes said of the news:

"It's another JLS first. Making a movie has always been on our wish list and now we've accomplished that goal."

"We want our fans to see another side to us, a more intimate side, proper fly on the wall camera stuff."

The screenings will launch on June 3 and tickets are due to be made available to fans from Friday, April 1. Watch JLS' recent video update, which includes the guys singing 'Happy Birthday' to Marvin, here:
