Nerves are starting to bug Blue

The nerves are starting to creep up on newly reformed boy band Blue as this year's Eurovision draws closer.

After facing harsh criticism from the likes of television presenter Philip Schofield and fellow singers The Wanted, the 'All Rise' stars have admitted they are feeling the pressure as the infamous contest gets nearer. Lee Ryan explained their stresses to BANG Showbiz:

"I think nerves play a big part in being a performer."

"Everyone needs the nerves, if you don't have the nerves then you don't have the edge."

The apprehension is partly made up of excitement, though, as Duncan James added:

"We've apparently got the highest odds in the UK for years so that's an achievement in itself, so we're just going to go out there and put on a great performance and hopefully won't look too bad."

The 2011 Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Germany on May 14 and you can watch Blue perform their entry, 'I Can', here:
