Singer-songwriter KT Tunstall has revealed to her followers on social networking site Twitter that she is keen to have laser eye surgery. 

The musician, who almost ironically had a hit with 'Suddenly I See', wrote to fans on April 6:

"Getting tests to see if I can get laser eye surgery, and nursey just dilated my pupils! Woohoo! I can't read!"

Tunstall has just arrived in America where she will do a solo headlining tour and she also recently announced that she will be releasing brand new music in the form of her 'The Scarlet Tulip EP', which she explained as being "really special":

“It’s the first time since I was very young that I’ve set about recording just my voice with finger-picked guitar."

"I felt a creative need to do something impulsive and autonomous, so this EP is partly to celebrate embarking on my first major solo tour, but also to get the songs out there into the ether as I’ve always felt there is something special about sending new songs off into the world as soon as they are done. There’s something magical about it."
