John Lennon's original handwritten lyrics for the classic song 'Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds', by The Beatles, are up for auction. 

Billboard.com is reporting that the auction house, Profiles in History, expects the exciting document to sell for over $200,000 when it becomes available next month in Beverly Hills. It also explains the content of the notes:

"It has the opening lyrics for the song, and a rough sketch by of four people in a room with windows draped in curtains."

The draft of the lyrics will go under the hammer on May 14 and 15 at the Saban Theatre in Los Angeles and you can watch Lennon perform his iconic track, 'Imagine', here:
