Whitney Houston has entered a rehabilitation facility to deal with her drug and alcohol problems. 

The 47-year-old singer has a history of addiction and a member of her team confirmed to People magazine that she has voluntarily entered rehab to seek help:

"Whitney Houston is currently in an out-patient rehab program for drug and alcohol treatment. Whitney voluntarily entered the program to support her long-standing recovery process."
