Pop icon Lady Gaga traded her microphone for a pen today as she became the role of guest editor for the global newspaper network, Metro. 

Stepping into the London headquarters this morning, May 16, she quipped "I'm sorry if my business attire is a little different" as she entered the building with an extravagant two-tone beehive hairdo, fishnets and skyscraper heels. 

Talking about her duties, she said:

"I really appreciate the opportunity and it's a wonderful chance for me to show the world that little monsters are not just a fan thing, but exist outside the music world altogether."

The 'Judas' hitmaker will release her new album, 'Born This Way', next week on May 23 and you can watch part of her performance from Radio 1's Big Weekend here:
