Gaga to be newspaper's guest editor

Modern pop icon Lady Gaga is set to continue her path into the creative media industries later next month with an exclusive guest-editor's position at Metro International. 

The 'Born This Way' singer will step in for chief editorial duties on May 17 where she will oversee the production of an impressive 17 international editions of the newspaper. 

The global editor of Metro International, Maggie Samways, explained that she is "thrilled" to take Gaga on as a guest editor and expects her to create a "one-of-a-kind newspaper". It's common for music's biggest stars to cross over into different creative platforms and Sir Elton John, Bono and James Blunt are all singers that have worked as guest editors on different publications in the past. 

Gaga also tweeted earlier this evening, April 9, that she has finalized the artwork for her forthcoming new record. Check out her country version of 'Born This Way' here:
