Leona Lewis wants ‘X Factor’ job

Former ‘X Factor’ winner Leona Lewis has revealed that she’d like to return to the show as a mentor for hopeful acts.

The ‘Bleeding Love’ singer won the talent contest in 2006 and has since become one of the most successful artists to come out of the programme. She revealed to The Sun that she’ll be back on the show this season to perform, but has higher hopes for a different type of appearance in the future.

"I always go on and sing,” she said. “I'll be performing again this year.

"But I'd like to get more involved, maybe a mentor type of job. I can advise acts on what will happen to them."

Leona was also one of the many, many people rumoured as a judge before the official panel was announced. However, she explained: "I couldn't this year because I've been working on my album, but maybe another year.

"It was sad when Cheryl left. I thought she was great."
