Tulisa concerned about X Factor job security

Tulisa Contostavlos was concerned about the security of her new job as a judge on X Factor when it was revealed that Cheryl Cole had left the American version.

The N-Dubz star explained to the Daily Mirror that when she heard Cole was no longer on the X Factor USA panel she immediately worried that her imminent return to the UK would put her own role in jeopardy:

"When it was all going on I tried to keep my head down but, yes, I was a little nervous she might get her old job - or my new one - back."

"Cheryl's had a tough time and of course I feel bad for her. I was worried about being seen to be trying to fill Cheryl's shoes, but I'm not. I'm just trying to be me."

She also added that Cole sent her a bouquet of flowers on her first day as a member of the all-important decision making panel:

"Cheryl sent me some flowers on my first day, which was a pretty amazing gesture and totally unexpected. To be going through all that she is, well, that's a very kind, thoughtful gesture."
