Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran released his debut single, 'The A Team', yesterday (June 12) and it's already climbing the UK singles chart on iTunes. 

The talented young musician, who is by no means new to the scene, is currently at No.5 in the iTunes singles chart after only 24 hours of sales. The support Ed Sheeran has previously enjoyed has been phenomenal and he's already collaborated with some huge names.

'The A Team' music video has earned itself over 2 million views on YouTube and judging from its existing, and now growing, popularity will chart very respectably on Sunday when the positions for this week are confirmed. 

Sheeran will embark upon a full headlining tour of the UK in October although several of the dates have already sold out. Check out his fantastic debut single below:
