Red Hot Chili Peppers have revealed their forthcoming album's artwork and unveiled the name of the artist behind it.

'I'm With You' is set to be released on August 30 and the record's first single, 'The Adventures Of Raindance Maggie' will come out on July 18, and the band explained that they had a special collaborator work with them on the cover.

A message on the band's official website reads:

"Check out our new album cover – officially revealed! Damien Hirst did it for us and we’re happy to get this out to ya!"

Damien Hirst, the artist best known for his series of works that featured animals preserved in formaldehyde, designed and created the artwork for 'I'm With You' which shows a fly sat on top of a pill.
