'Glee' star Lea Michele has broken up with her boyfriend, Theo Stockman, after dating for 17 months.

The 25-year-old singer and actress began dating her Broadway actor boyfriend after they were spotted at an event in New York celebrating Time's 100 Most Influential People issue in April 2010.

Michele's representative has said that the break-up was amicable:

"This is not a dramatic break-up, the relationship just ran its course. They are still friends and will always be friends."

The ambitious star will be returning as Rachel Berry in the third season of 'Glee' which starts on Thursday (September 22) on Sky 1 at 9pm.
