Broken Social Scene are taking a prolonged breakBroken Social Scene have announced that they are going on hiatus, after 12 years together. The collective were one of the leading indie bands from Canada with members of their rotating line-up also playing with bands like Metric, Stars and Leslie Feist, who is better known simply as Feist. Kevin Drew, the co-founder of Broken Social Scene and once boyfriend of Feist, said the following to the Huffington Post: “There’s no bad blood, no problems, everyone is at peace. We’ve had a lot of inter-relationships, some have worked, some haven’t. But we all loved what we were doing. And I think we were always fair".
