The Xtra Factor co-host, Caroline Flack, has responded to death threats from One Direction fans.

The TV presenter has received a number of threats online following stories that she is romantically involved with 17-year-old band member, Harry Styles. 

Flack, who is 31 years old, responded to these messages on her Twitter:

"Hi one direction fans! To clarify. I'm close friends with harry. He's one of the nicest people I know... I don't deserve death threats. :) x."
