The odds on Little Mix winning this year's X Factor have been slashed after Amelia Lily was booted out of the final last night (December 10).

The girl group were already favourites, but after Lily was voted off by the public, they are now the hot tip at 4/11 to win the competition, according to bookmaker William Hill.

The news of Lily's elimination means that either Little Mix or Marcus Collins, who has odds of 9/4, will win this year's competition and have a stab at the 2011 Christmas No.1 single.
