Britney Spears' ex Kevin Federline rushed to hospital after heart scare

Britney Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline is said to have received a heart scare whilst on the set of a weight loss reality TV show.

The Mirror reports that the show, called Excess Baggage, was being filmed in Australia when he complained of chest pains, before being taken to hospital.

A spokesperson for the TV network Nine confirmed that Federline was taking part in a challenge with an Australian football club when the scare occured, with the dancer being treated for the "first signs" of a cardiac arrest. They said:

"Kevin was at Doonside with the [Giants], completing an AFL-related challenge. He did his challenge, which was running and catching the ball, then while his [in-series weight-loss partner] was taking the same challenge, he reported chest pains and a racing heart. Obviously on this show we have a lot of paramedics on stand by and they treated him for the first signs of a minor cardiac arrest, called an ambulance and had him taken to hospital. They want to do blood tests and [he] is likely to be there until at least late tonight [Monday]."

Federline was married to pop princess Britney Spears between 2004 and 2007, having two children together.
