Nick Carter, who is mourning the loss of his sister Leslie, has revealed that he wanted to be present at her funeral but was not told about the arrangements by his family. 

The star told TMZ that there has always been a "complicated dynamic" between his loved ones and he ended up missing the service because his blood relatives failed to inform him of the date or location. 

"I wanted to be at my sister's funeral, but my family has always had a complicated dynamic. There are so many emotions for me surrounding the loss of my sister. I am trying to stay healthy, positive, and focused."

Earlier last week, Carter spoke out about the situation and admitted that instead of putting his tour plans on hold he wanted to continue with work as performing on stage is something he finds very cathartic:

"I am dedicating the rest of my tour to my sister since she loved to watch me perform.”
