Blonde bombshell Pixie Lott has offered advice on how to win someone's heart on Valentine's Day. 

The 'Kiss The Stars' songstress spoke to Capital FM about the best way to spend the romantic day and explained that it's always better to be "thoughtful" than to go for the obvious or overly commercial approach:

"I think the best things are always hand made things. If he makes a card and puts his special touches on it, maybe writes her a poem and squirts it in some perfume."

"The more thoughtful approach works. You need to put some thought into it. Spend the day with her and make her feel like a princess. That kind of stuff always works."
