JLS's Aston Merrygold "falls on head" and "nearly drowns" in tour rehearsals

JLS heartthrob Aston Merrygold suffered concussion during the rehearsals for his band's current arena tour - and he "nearly drowned" too.

The boys had been training hard for the tour it seems, which is currently hitting cities across the UK.

Speaking to the Mirror, JB Gill revealed that his bandmate Aston Merrygold "fell on his head" during one rehearsal - and that a backing dancer suffered a slipped disc too. He said:

"This show really has been blood, sweat and tears…and scratches. We're all injured. One of our dancers slipped a disc, one had a really bad neck injury and one a knee injury. Then Aston fell on his head which was pretty nasty."

Marvin Humes meanwhile added that poor Merrygold nearly drowned too. He said: "Aston also nearly drowned during one of the water stunts. Our lives have definitely been at risk."

JLS had previously revealed that they had been in training for up to eight hours a day as they prepared to head out on the tour.
