N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos has opened up about returning to The X Factor as a judge later this year and described the opportunity as one that will allow her to grow.

Speaking to Top of the Pops magazine, the 'Young' songstress explained that it's exciting to be coming back for a second year and she thinks it will be better now as she knows what to expect from the role:

"I don't know if I'm allowed to answer. I suppose it doesn't really matter, so let's just say (I've known for) quite a while. Would it be cheeky to say I think I did a good enough job to keep my place?"

"I'm growing as a person, so you might see a change in me simply because I'm growing up, but I'm just going to be me. Whatever comes out, comes out."
