Adam Lambert and Britney Spears have topped a Billboard poll to find the sexiest people in music.

Lambert won 26% of the readers' vote to land the 'Sexiest Man in Music' title, whilst Britney Spears gained 45% of the votes in the female category.

Trailing behind Lambert in the male category was Maroon 5's Adam Levine, who came second with 12% of the votes, whilst Justin Bieber grabbed the bronze medal with 10%.

In the female category meanwhile, Lady Gaga landed at No.2 on the list with 12% of the votes whilst new mother Beyoncé came third with 8%.
