Video emerges of Stone Roses' encore no-show

Video footage has emerged online of Stone Roses' encore no-show last night (June 12) in Amsterdam.

The reunited band were playing the gig as part of their summer tour, which sees them hit a number of festivals and play a series of hometown shows in Manchester.

Reports emanated however that drummer Alan 'Reni' Wren had failed to appear for the band's encore in Amsterdam, with Ian Brown apologising to the crowd.

It was said that Reni had "gone home" and that they were as a result ending the show there.

Video footage of the incident has now appeared online, which shows Brown attempting to placate the bemused and crowd. He said:

"The drummer's gone home, I'm not kidding you. So there you go. Sorry about that."
