Last week, One Direction heartthrob Niall Horan confirmed that he's been getting to know Demi Lovato and he has now met part of the singer's family.

During a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest, the Irish star explained that he thinks Lovato is "really nice" and has been enjoying talking to her, but the 'Skyscraper' beauty's sister Dallas revealed that she had a little rendezvous with him on the Santa Monica Pier yesterday.

In a series of tweets posted earlier today (June 19), Dallas joked that it was great to meet Horan but she felt bad for "embarrassing" him:

"Best day ever at the pier w/ @ambermontana111 and @Maddielovesyou1! Nice meeting u @NiallOfficial sry if I embarassed u ;) @NiallOfficial I feel bad if I embarassed u 2day at the pier ur adorable."

Maddie De La Garza, Demi's other sister, also added: "Lip-syncing to One Direction songs in an empty parking lot!! Haha."

Horan also took to the social networking site and replied: "@dallaslovato haha good to meet you! was funny! bit random but ey!"
