Britain's Got Talent's Ryan O'Shaughnessy has revealed that One Direction star Louis Tomlinson would like to write music with him.

O'Shaughnessy appeared on the 2012 series of the TV talent show and reached the final, ultimately losing out in the end.

Speaking to the Daily Star, the singer said that One Direction's Tomlinson has been in touch with him about collaborating. He said:

"I've been speaking to Louis (Tomlinson) out of One Direction on Twitter and he said he'd like to write a song with me, so we will do that soon."

He added: "I love getting to know somebody new and ­writing something from scratch."
