Jason Donovan's disappointment at cancelled Kylie duet

Jason Donovan has revealed his disappointment at the fact that tomorrow's Pete Waterman concert, at which he was scheduled to duet with Kylie Minogue, has been called off.

Pete Waterman's Hit Factory Live show was supposed to take place on Wednesday, July 11 in London's Hyde Park, but has now been cut due to an adverse weather warning.

Minogue and Donovan had been rehearsing their iconic collaboration 'Especially For You' for the occasion and he took to social networking site Twitter this afternoon (July 10) to tell his fans that he was gutted at the sudden cancellation:

"Yesterday was a great rehearsal .... Band,Songs and even my voice was all sounding great Kylie and I were really looking forward to singing Especially For You for the first time LIVE ..... Well ..... You never know, I'm sure we'll get another chance !! Fingers crossed."

Meanwhile, a tweet was posted from Minogue's own account that expressed a similar sentiment: "Team Kylie and Kylie herself are very disappointed that @PWLHitFactory has been cancelled."
