Michael Madsen admits he didn't enjoy beating up Justin Bieber in new video

Film star Michael Madsen has admitted that he didn't really enjoy beating up Justin Bieber in the singer's new video.

The Canadian popstar recently released the video for his latest single 'As Long As You Love Me', which comes off his new album 'Believe'.

The clip is dubbed as more of a short film than a music video and features an appearance from Reservoir Dogs hardman Michael Madsen, who ultimately attacks Bieber over his prized daughter, leaving him bloody and bruised.

Madsen, however, said he didn't really have fun beating up Bieber on screen because he thought the 18-year-old was so nice. He said:

"I didn't exactly enjoy slapping him around. Had he been a pr*ck, had he been a brat, you know, I might have had fun with that. But he was actually, he was the opposite."

He continued: "He was very respectful, very respectful and decent to me. I think he wanted it to be well-done. I don't think he was blowing it off. I think that I've been around enough to know I can tell if somebody isn't really doing their job or taking what they do seriously. And I could tell from early on in the morning that he was. He wanted it to be right."

Madsen meanwhile admitted that while he hadn't heard much of Bieber's music, he ended up liking 'As Long As You Love Me'. He added:

"I hadn't heard much of his music before. I wouldn't be in exactly the age range to listen to Justin Bieber, ok? It's not like I'm tuning in for it, but I did, I do like that song. I like that song a lot. It's very pretty. It's nice."
