Whitney Houston's daughter inks tribute tattoo on late mother's birthday

Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina has inked a tattoo in memory of her mother to celebrate her birthday.

Houston, who died on February 11 this year, would have celebrated her 49th birthday yesterday (August 9).

Her daughter Bobbi Kristina, along with boyfriend Nick Gordon, got new tattoos done in honour of the late singer to mark her birthday.

Before Houston's birthday, Bobbi Kristina tweeted:

"Once it hits 12 am mommy it's your birthday & I am going2celebrate it2thee fullest! Bc YOU deserve it damn it, YOU deaerveNothingburtheBEST!."

She then uploaded a photo of herself and Gordon's wrists together, with the 'WH' on show. She added:

"Tat tat tatted YURP.. ;) now your truly ALWAYS with us mommy (:."
