Girls Aloud will "definitely" celebrate tenth anniversary

Nicola Roberts has confirmed that Girls Aloud will be celebrating their tenth anniversary.

The pop group were pieced together in 2002 on reality show Popstars: The Rivals and the quintet enjoyed a successful career soon after.

Girls Aloud have been on hiatus for a few years however as their members branched out and tried their hand at going solo.

Speaking on ITV's This Morning, Roberts confirmed that they will "definitely" be celebrating their ten year milestone in November, but she couldn't say any more. She said:

"I wanna tell you everything but I really can't! It's our tenth birthday in November so we will definitely celebrating."

Roberts meanwhile commented on the Spice Girls' reunion last night (August 12) at the Olympic Games Closing Ceremony in London, saying:

"It was amazing. I was a super Spice Girls fan when I was little so I was relishing in the nostalgia."
