Lindsay Lohan could be about to team up with will.i.am for a song or two in the future.

The pair appeared at the Black Eyed Peas man's listening party for his upcoming new album '#willpower', which is due to be released in September.

Speaking to E! at the event, Lohan - who has previously dabbled in music - admitted that she wasn't asked to feature on will.i.am's new album but said she hoped something could be sorted in the future. When asked if she appears on '#willpower', the actress said:

"I'm not. He didn't ask me. Explain that."

She continued: "I was filming and I had other things to handle. So maybe the next one. Maybe he'll do my next one."

Will.i.am interjected: "'Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father) Part 2'. Or after this listening party, I'll find out what we're missing and then we'll record a song tomorrow."
