Hitmaker Tinchy Stryder has been confirmed to support Cheryl Cole when she heads out on tour to promote her new album, 'A Million Lights', next month.

The extensive run of dates will kick off on October 3 in Belfast at the Odyssey Arena and will run until October 17 when the tour comes to a close in Cole's native Newcastle.

Tweeting about his place on the tour, Stryder wrote (September 12): "Tell CHERYL COLE & Rihanna that i love them.... Or maybe I can tell her myself on tour ;) lol #HelpMe."

Meanwhile, Cole's latest single 'Under The Sun' climbed 3 positions in the midweek update yesterday and is now at No.12, and her album is currently hanging on at No.40.
