Rising star Azealia Banks has revealed that she recently met the wife of British Prime Minister David Cameron and she told her that she was a fan of her music.

Writing on her official Twitter page last night (September 17), stylish rap sensation Banks explained that Sarah Cameron had nothing but good things to say about her debut single, '212':

"Just met Samantha Cameron... She told me she loves 212...... *mind blown*. Samantha Cameron is the Michelle Obama of Britain. . . This is actually crazy right now."

Earlier this week, it was announced that Banks has been nominated in the Best International Act category at this year's MOBOs and fans can head to the organisation's website to cast their votes from now until the end of October.

The 'Liquorice' beauty has also confirmed a 'Mermaid Ball' performance for October 13 at London's Aquarium and tickets are available to purchase now.
