One Direction and Justin Bieber lead People's Choice nominations

UK-based boyband One Direction and Canadian heartthrob Justin Bieber are leading this year's 2013 People's Choice Awards nominations with 4 and 5 nods respectively.

The 'Little Things' superstars have been recognised in the Favourite Music Fan Following, Favourite Album (for 'Up All Night'), Favourite Song (for 'What Makes You Beautiful'), and Favourite Break Out Artist categories, while Bieber also got nominated for Favourite Male and Music Video.

The ceremony itself will take place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on January 9 and other music stars in the running for prizes include Demi Lovato, Maroon 5, fun., The Wanted and Katy Perry.
