One Direction's Liam Payne launches YouTube channel

One Direction singer Liam Payne has opened a YouTube channel.

The star is a regular user of social networking website Twitter and the video streaming hub seems to be the next website on his agenda.

The channel is set to feature exclusive videos from Payne, with the singer starting off by asking fans for song requests and video ideas.

Writing on his new page - which he publicised on Twitter this morning (November 23) - the 'One Thing' man said: "Hi guys, so I do a lot of twitcams and stuff but I thought I would start a Youtube channel so you guys can see different things I get up to. Feel free to ask me if there is songs you want me to play or anything you guys want to see."

He continued: "I just want to do something extra for all you amazing fans to show you how greatful I am for all your hard work and all the amazing support you give me and the boys. Im going to try and post at least one random video every few week so watch out :D."

At the time of writing, Payne's channel has over 65,000 subscribers despite having no videos.
