Mel B: "Spice Girls are definitely getting back together"

Spice Girls star Mel B has joked the whole band have been "blamed" for their failure to reunite, apart from Emma Bunton.

The iconic girl band - comprising Mel, Bunton, Victoria Beckham, Mel C and Geri Halliwell - recently came together in London for the launch of their new stage show Viva Forever! which is based on their greatest hits.

The five piece also reunited to perform at the hotly-anticipated Olympics this summer - with much made about their possible return to the charts.

Mel explained to Now magazine about the constant rumours: "I've been blamed. Victoria's been blamed. Geri's been blamed. The only one who hasn't is Emma."

She added about a Spice Girls reunion: "You're speaking to the wrong one - I'll be the first to say: 'We're definitely getting back together in a couple of years.' You have to see what the others say."

All five women have concentrated on solo projects since the group disbanded, with Beckham becoming a major force in the fashion industry. Mel is proud of the style icon's success as a designer.

She continued: "Victoria's very fashion-forward and her line's frigging incredible. All the girls have done well. I have the utmost respect for them and I always will have."
