Dappy denies affray charges

Dappy has pleaded not guilty to three charges that allege he was involved in a petrol station fight.

As previously reported, the rapper faced court yesterday (January 7) on affray charges after being arrested in March last year.

He has been landed with three assault charges relating to an incident at a petrol station in Surrey in February last year.

Dappy denies two charges of common assault against Grace Cochran and Serena Burton and one of assault by beating against David Jenkins.

He will appear in court alongside two co-defendants - Kieran Patrick Vassell, 25, of Hammersmith, west London, and Kalonji David Stewart, 32, of Harborne, Birmingham - after the trial's fourth defendant, Alfred James Miller, 28, of Brentford, west London, pleaded guilty to affray.

The case was adjourned yesterday and is set to resume today (January 8).
