Former X Factor finalist Amelia Lily has confessed that beating Tulisa Contostavlos, the show's opinionated judge, in the singles chart last year was a career highlight.

Speaking to the Daily Star, blonde bombshell Lily explained that it was fantastic to see her own single, 'You Bring Me Joy', debut at No.2 on the UK Top 40 at the same time Tulisa's 'Live It Up' failed to break into the Top 10:

"I loved beating Tulisa."

Meanwhile, Lily's second single, entitled 'Shut Up (And Give Me Whatever You Got)', will be released on iTunes this coming Sunday (January 20) and her full length album is set to follow later this year.
