Rylan Clark has been leaving the Celebrity Big Brother house to attend rehearsals for the upcoming X Factor Live Tour.

The outgoing singer signed up to appear on the Channel 5 reality show this year - but one of his former housemates has claimed that he has been leaving the Big Brother compound to rehearse for the X Factor.

Actress Gillian Taylforth, who was voted out of the show on Friday (January 18), said on the Wright Stuff today (January 21):

"Rylan went out to do X Factor rehearsals... obviously he wasn't allowed to talk about it, but when he came back he'd just ask somebody the time very quickly like [his] driver, and we said to him when he'd get in, 'What's the time?'."

A spokesperson for Channel 5 has since confirmed that Clark has been rehearsing - although they claim it has been "on site". They said:

"Rylan has rehearsed for his tour on site with a choreographer, escorted by a Big Brother producer."

Members of the Big Brother house are not usually allowed out of the building whilst a contestant on the show.

The X Factor Live Tour is due to take place from January 26 and into late February.
