Country-pop superstar Taylor Swift has cleared up some rumours surrounding her relationship status and dating approaches.

During a new interview on Spanish TV show 'El Hormiguero', she explained that the press always blow her love life out of proportion and suggest things like she's buying a house close to her latest lover:

"People say that I'm buying houses all the time that I'm not buying. It's like... every time the press thinks I like a guy they say I am buying a house next to them."

"I think once a relationship is done, it's done - you can't do that back and forth thing. It's the most exhausting process."

Tweeting about her recent trip to Spain, she thanked her fans for the award she received at the 40 Principales Awards: "Tonight was my first time at the 40 Principales Awards in Madrid and it was amazing!
