CBS to air GRAMMY special on Whitney Houston's death

On the eve of the 2013 GRAMMY Awards ceremony, TV channel CBS has confirmed that it will air a special to honour the life of the late Whitney Houston.

The one-hour programme will look at how the 'I Will Always Love You' vocal icon's death affected the 2012 ceremony and is also set to include a series of interviews with the likes of LL Cool J, Jennifer Hudson, Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift and other artists.

Last year, producers of the GRAMMYs learned of the superstar's February 11 passing less than 24 hours before the world famous event took place and scrambled to create a tribute to her that could be presented on the night, which this show is set to focus on.

Houston was tragically found submerged in water at the Beverly Hills hotel in a bathtub almost 12 months ago.

This year's GRAMMYs are due to take place on February 10 at Los Angeles' Staples Center and it will include live performances from fun., Justin Timberlake and the newly confirmed Frank Ocean.
