Seattle based rapper Macklemore has claimed the No.1 spot during today's (February 10) official singles chart update.

His track 'Thrift Shop', which also features Wanz and Macklemore's long-time collaborator Ryan Lewis, beat White Noise's 'Disclosure' which fell short of the top position, coming in at No.2.

Elsewhere in the charts, Fall Out Boy have marked their comeback with a new entry at 5 in the form of 'My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark' while will.i.am's former No. 1 featuring Britney Spears 'Scream & Shout' is at No. 6.

Taylor Swift's catchy hit 'I Knew You Were Trouble' is down five places to No. 9 while Conor Maynard's 'Animal' featuring Wiley has dropped four places to No. 11 after six weeks in the chart.

Meanwhile, Bruno Mars' track 'Locked Out Of Heaven' has dropped 7 places to No.23 while PSY's record-breaking 'Gangnam Style' has slipped two places to No. 24.
