Adele and fun. win at the 2013 GRAMMY Awards

The 55th GRAMMY Awards took place tonight (February 10) and saw performances from the likes of Sting, Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson and fun.

The star-studded ceremony was opened by live sets from Taylor Swift with 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' and 'The A Team' by Ed Sheeran with special guest collaborator, Sir Elton John.

British songstress Adele won the prize for Best Pop Solo Performance with her live version of 'Set Fire To The Rain', country beauty and former American Idol sensation Carrie Underwood took home the Best Country Solo Performance title for 'Blown Away', and fun. won the Song Of The Year honour for their anthem, 'We Are Young'. The band fun. also won Best New Artist.

Hitmaker and Hollywood actor Justin Timberlake then took the stage for a special sepia-toned performance of his comeback single, 'Suit & Tie', for which he was joined by music mogul Jay-Z. Frank Ocean's 'Channel Orange' record was crowned the Best Urban Contemporary Album winner and Kelly Clarkson was named the Best Pop Vocal Album winner for her album, 'Stronger'.

Beyoncé, who recently owned the 2013 Super Bowl's half-time show, won Best Traditional R&B Performance (shown below).
