Mumford & Sons: 'We finally feel like a big-boy band'

Indie folk stars Mumford & Sons have admitted that touring America has opened them up to a whole new scene and given them the experience they needed to feel like they've made it.

Speaking to Britain's Daily Star newspaper, the band's accordion player Ben Lovett explained that they finally feel like they've come into their own:

"We've toured hard and we're excited about taking on the responsibility of being a big-boy band and stepping into the shoes of the big guys. We're trying our best."

Frontman Marcus Mumford added that performing live in a different country has shown them a whole different side to their band and career, which has been amazing:

"Live shows really connect with people in a way you can't on record. We've met some great people in the indie, rock and country worlds here, so we just feel like kindred spirits."

The band won two GRAMMYs at this past weekend's ceremony (pictured below) and also performed at the prestigious and world famous music event.
