MC Harvey has given his thoughts on Cheryl Cole's recent settlement in relation to claims he had a "communication relationship" with her.

As previously reported, Cole was today (February 19) awarded damages, legal costs and an apology from Now magazine after they printed false claims about an alleged relationship she had with the So Solid Crew man after her break-up with husband Ashley Cole.

The publication said last year that they had seen emails which confirmed Harvey's initial claim that he had a "communication relationship" with the Girls Aloud singer - but these turned out to be a hoax, perhaps in an effort to manipulate Harvey.

The rapper took to Twitter after news of the case broke to message Cole directly, saying:

"Settlement with my lawyer yeh lol. Good thing you got money to protect your arse #fakearsepopsinger. Come to the surface don't hide behind Russell's lawyers. Your fans talk alot you don't."

He continued: "Cheryl soldiers lmaooooo. What you no about soldiers chick never even spent a day in the ghetto #letsparty."

Harvey later added: "These people are so easy to wind up...I love girls aloud...... Not."
