Black Sabbath confirm new album release date

Black Sabbath have revealed the release date of their forthcoming new album.

The core members of the heavy metal godfathers  - Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler - will unveil new record '13' on June 10 in the UK and a day later in the US.

The original trio have been working on their first studio album since 1978's 'Never Say Die!', which was Ozzy's last with the group.

Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler enlisted the help of Rage Against The Machine drummer Brad Wilk for the album after a disagreement with original sticksman Bill Ward.

The record was produced by veteran Rick Rubin and will come in a variety of formats, including vinyl.
